If performance were not an issue, it seems like Declarative programming style is >> Functional is >> Imperative. Things like Prolog are great for their sweet spots. I wonder, wish that kind of usability could be extended and refined. I wonder if Attempto Controlled English would be a close-enough-to-natural-language approach to mix in with Declarative style.
